24-Port 10/100/1000 Managed Layer 2+ PoE+ Switches
The Signamax 24-port Managed Layer 2+ PoE+ Ethernet Switches provide non-blocking performance for 24 10/100/1000BaseT/TX Ethernet connections supporting PoE/PoE+, 4 of which are Dual Media 100/1000Base SFP Ports, plus 2 100/1000Base SFP only ports, for a total of 26 ports. The two SFP only ports and the four Dual Media ports use auto-detected SFP modules for fiber optic switch interconnection at extended distances.
These switches also support modern capabilities such as IPv6 and a full SNMP management package that is complete and comprehensive at a surprisingly low cost. Both ring and star Gigabit backbone network architectures are possible with full automatic failover. The switches can communicate with network management systems such as HP OpenView™ via SNMP for enterprise-wide status display, statistical monitoring, and switch control. The enhanced Layer 2+ look-ahead routing features and IP type of service support make these models excellent choices for establishing or adding to an enterprise PoE / PoE+ network.
